I had a very frustrating experience with McGrath Buick GMC Cadillac in Cedar Rapids, IA.
I found a Nissan 350Z listed at their Cedar Rapids location and placed an online hold that was advertised as being good for 24 hours. I wouldn't recommend McGrath to anyone all I've had are issues and being lied to about repairs to my windshield , even as far as being told they've made my appointment at advanced glass I've called and the place had no clue about the vehicle or who I was

They are family owned and they treat you like Family. I worked with Craig and Adam I've never seen someone go above and beyond to help me get approved and some good priced insurance, I was in and out in 2.5 hours, I can definitely afford my payments. Have had over 1500 dollars in repairs within the first 3 months since I've purchase the vehicle and paid over fair market price didn't feel deal was at all transparent or even did any type of inspection on the car before selling it.
Berto was great and so was Adam, made the process very easy, will recommend to others!
Told me I need a new engine on the Malibu I bought there after the mechanic told me they were having problems with it before , because they brought it down from their Dubuque dealership and I'm sure he reset the check engine light and crossed their fingers,

The salesperson I worked with (Savon) was fantastic. He arranged to get a car here from one of their other locations. He was so friendly, helpful and informative. He answered all my questions, didn’t treat me like I usually get treated at a car dealership by men and was not high pressure sales. I haven’t found the right vehicle yet but I will buy it from Savon here. Go call this salesman if you’re in the market for a vehicle.
I believe there service is complete. But the video they send while completing the service could be better and maybe a transcript of there findings sent too. Overall very good service and not giving anyone 5 stars because things could always get better.

This is the worst dealership ive ever had the displeasure to deal with,and will NEVER do it again! My daughters Jeep she bought from them over a year ago threw an ABS code shortly after she bought it. Still under warranty, thier mechanics diagnosed that the abs system was bad. I want people to know the2011 Chevy Cruze is overpriced it is Kelly Blue book for 5,060 and it was my car the thermostat dies not work they said the head gasket maybe going out. If I could do zero stars, I would. The car we bought has been nothing but trouble since day one. We've had it back in their shop multiple times and each time, it came out with more problems. Every single thing has been warranty work that needed redone. Steph in the service center is one of the rudest, most condescending people I have ever dealt with. I will never buy or recommend someone buy from McGrath.

Had my tires "ROTATED AND BALANCED" they didnt readjust the air pressure and after a second visit i paid another shop to do it RIGHT. Now my truck has a death wobble and was told its not safe to drive but they say it needs a whole new front steering components replaced and want $3,000 to fix it, not overed under warranty. Should have kept my chevy with 265,000 miles on it. ATLEAST I COULD DRIVE IT!

Don't fall for their buyback scam! Took my truck in to get looked at for an offer. They gave me no numbers for anything before running my credit without asking my permission to run my credit. You people called me first. Then lied twice about a proposal already being written up and only 1 out of 2 trucks i wanted to see.. Unprofessional to say the least. Avoid these jackals.

The staff was very friendly and I liked dealing my salesman. Didnt like it when he got a little pushy about a vehicle outside my price range. Over all a decent experience. They need to tell people they dont take a personal check for a down payment and there is a charge to use a debit card for same.

Worst dealership. Has over $7,000 in needed repairs. Mgr Josh Whipple said to me: "I would love to repair your vehicle so I never have to talk to you again". But refused to fix it. This is horrible for a manager to say this. He should be fired for saying it.

I was NOT happy with my daughter’s or my experience with this dealership. Tried to sell my daughter a crap Honda car that smelled like a cat pee! When the sales manager asked my daughter if she had cats and she responded “yes” he said here you go indicating the smelly car!!!! Rude and for the record no one realizes we have cats until they see them because we don’t have a house that smells like that horrible car did!!! So I give you a Negative five!!! Kenny was confident and not pushing when I expressed concerned he was reassuring. Trever was informative and spoke directly to my wants. These two were definitely great to work with.
We dealt mostly with Kenny. Very nice young man. We are not practiced in purchasing from a dealership. Process was explained nicely. Only complaint, car was too pricey! Hopefully, car will provide transportation for quite awhile. We will see how the extended service warranty works out. Anyway, Kenny was a nice kid and a good sales person. Treat him well!

This team is terrific! I was just beginning to look for a new car, and spotted a possibility when driving by the Davenport Superstore. We stopped in, and a short time later I was driving my new car home. Nick and Nolan are very good at what they do. They’re also fast (efficient), friendly and fun. They both stayed late so I could drive my newly washed car home that night, even though I offered to come ba the next day. Great experience, great guys!

Expect a bait and switch, evasive talk about pricing and downright dishonesty! E-prices are a joke and are not honored. Vehicles tend to be over priced as well according to sites like car gurus and auto trader. Very disappointing experience, will never purchase a vehicle at Davenport Used Car Superstore!
